is no basic excess payable in the event of a motor accident.
The underwriters settle the full claim with the panel beater and you
contribute nothing towards the repairs. This only applies to the basic
excess and penalty excesses such as for age etc and windscreen excesses
are still payable by the insured. |

Benefit”. This benefit offers free assistance should
you lock your keys in the car, you run out of petrol, you are stuck
at the side of the road etc etc. This is a 24 hour service and you
are covered no matter where in South Africa.
